Every month Bo Bunny will be offering a new class using their newest products, and all you need to do is go online!! Their first class began on January 9 using the beautiful new "Snowfall" paper and will continue throughout the month. February's class has already been announced and will be using the "Smooch" Valentine line. Sassy will be offering all the products necessary for you to participate in these classes. She died never having met 11 of my 13 grandchildren. She died not experiencing the laughter that goes on in my kitchen every Sunday. I will never know or understand why, but I know that she missed some very precious opportunities. October's Advanced Card Class

This months cards were so much fun to create. I used the new My Little Yellow Bicycle line "Sweater Weather". The colors and patterns are so fun they make the cards look so great. They also have some great embellishments and we will be using some of them on the cards. The stamps I used are Just Rite Stamps and we will be giving away the scarecrow set at the class if we have the minimum number sign up.

The Happy Fall card is a spinner card (the single pumpkin actually spins), I used Copic markers to color in the scarecrow. The pumpkin card is a recessed window card. I used Just Rite and Tim Holtz stamps , along with the awesome pumpkin spellbinders. The witch card is a treat slider card. You are able to slide a part of the card to get the candy out, so you don't have to tear the card up to get to the candy. I again used a Just Rite stamp on this card.

I can't wait to see all of you at my class on Thursday October 20th at 6:00. If you've never taken a class of mine you are in for a fun time and you will learn lots of tips and techniques. These cards will really impress your recipients, if you decide not to keep them for yourself. Please bring basic supplies - trimmer, scissors, adhesive - wet and dry, pop dots, black memento ink pad, tiny attachers, Distress inks - walnut stain, spiced marmelade, antique linen, crushed olive, and ink applicator.

Use this technique with any of your Cricut cut outs or use it with your tear bear designs. It's a must if you like a touch of the whimsical on your scrapbook pages or even on a card.

After the flood last year and the disappointment of having the convention cancelled, it is sooooo good to have you all returning to Middle Tennessee for this wonderful event!! We won't be setting up a booth this year, but we are excited to be joining you at the crops on Friday and Saturday nights!! Advanced Cards Class- July 2011

Hello there.....hope your summer is nothing but full of Family, sunshine, and fun! Mine is just zipping right along! Today I wanted to show you July's Cards for class. I think you will all be pleased! I tried to have a variety of sentiments and keeping at least one not so feminine.....so you have something to give those masculine fellows some love! We all know they may not say it but a card every once in awhile could make there day! Get a cup of your favorite beverage and enjoy!

First card is a pop up card.....

Next card is the tri fold card revisited!! I know this one was a favorite and thought it would be great to bring it back with some differences!

Now on to the 3rd and final....a pop up slider. This should be fun!

I found your store on the internet and we decided to give it a try. I was so impressed with your store. The selection of items in your travel section was like none I had ever seen. Your store was well organized, your prices were good - many cheaper than here and some the same, certainly nothing over priced. The work area was a dream space - I wish my stores here had that space instead of the back room with no windows. Your store is the best store I have ever been in (and I have been in quite a few in many provinces and some states).

Layout of the Month - LOTM

Hello All!

Yesterday was June's LOTM and it was just a blast! I very much enjoy seeing all of your lovely, smiling faces when you come in to see us! Our birthday themed LOTM was a perfect for kicking off the summer in an exciting and fun mood!!!

For those of you who don't know what "Layout of the Month" (LOTM) is . . . it is a program that we offer here at Sassy Scrapper where: On the first Saturday of every month, we at the store create a layout and give YOU the supplies to make it. Then, on the first Saturday of the NEXT month, you bring back your completed page for us to see :) and we give you the supplies to make the next layout. The best part about this program is that it is ONLY $20.11 for the ENTIRE YEAR! That is 12 DOUBLE PAGE LAYOUTS FOR TWENTY DOLLARS!!! Another GREAT PERK about this program is that every month, we focus on a different technique and theme, so you are constantly learning new things and creating lots of layouts!

I hope those of you who are not involved may reconsider, because it is just a fun way to complete pages and meet people AND be INSPIRED to create many more pages with the new techniques you have just learned!!!

OTHER exciting news: WE HAVE OUR FATHER'S DAY IDEA TABLE UP for you to come in and start thinking about what you wanna make Dad for Father's Day! Here is a picture!

Hello all you Sassy Ladies!

Today is busy day here at Sassy for me. I've been working on some layouts and sassy cuts for y'all! Last night was the Teacher Appreciation Crop and we had seven sassy girls here croppin' til Midnight! It was such a nice thing to celebrate the end of the school year with these teachers!

We have a Memorial Day Crop coming up on Monday, May 30! So if you don't have anything to do, or even if you do, take some time to celebrate, by scrappin' away with us here at the Sassy Scrapper!

I AM SO EXCITED FOR JUNE! We have so many fun things planned, and of course, IT IS THE BEGINNING OF SUMMER!

Some fun things that we have planned are:

Wednesday, June 1st -- SENIOR DAY Workshop/Crop - this is the first Wednesday of every month where we celebrate Seniors! You also get 10% off of your purchase!!!

Saturday, June 4th -- LAYOUT OF THE MONTH (LOTM) - A year round program Sassy has for you to create 12 layouts a year! Saturday, June 10th -- Creating with COPIC - FINALLY a Copic class for everyone who is interested in copics, or just to learn new techniques on how to use them!

Satuday, June 25th -- Summer "Tear Bear" Class - JULIE has done it again! She has created the CUTEST tear bear . . . with a floatie tube around it for the summer! Come on and learn how to create your own tear bears!

It is finally the first Saturday of the month; I've been waiting for several weeks just for this occasion. If you're a "SASSY GIRL" you know what today is ~ LOTM (Layout of the Month). Tear Bear "BUNNY"

Thank you ladies for making our Tear Bear "BUNNY" class such a success this month. I had so much fun learning this new technique and than sharing it with you. My heart smiled **BIG** when I heard that some of you took what you learned in class and shared it with your co-workers and friends. Great job - you made me proud.

Since it was such a great sucess I plan to do another Tear Bear class in June. I've already made a BEACH BEAR in a bathing suit with her inner tube and sand castle. She's at the store and waves hello to all who visit there. Come by and see her, she's so cute. Watch our web site sassyscrapper.net for further information and dates and times.

JUST a REMINDER: "Making Faces" Class is Sunday, May 22nd at 1 p.m.

I really look forward to this class and once again I'm so excited to share with you something else I've learned. I've been working on the techniques and the simplicity of these faces with my 6 year old son. He is loving it - Triangles, squares, circles and rain drops. If I can teach him to draw these simple whimsical faces I can teach you. It is easy as pie so come and try. What can you loose?

We finally had a White Christmas and here is the perfect album for all those pictures. Lee has created this album using the new Bo Bunny line Winter Joy. It is not your tradition Christmas colors but it is so beautiful. She incorporated several of Tim Holtz's tag techniques. Tuesday is Beginner note cards with a box.....Fall themed cards. Wednesday Morning Technique is learning how to use the spellbinders dies in your cuttlebug. Thursday is another Layout of the Month Technique class so if you still want to learn this class is waiting for you! Sassy Scrapper had a wonderful 4 day retreat at the Comfort Suites in Lebanon. If you missed it and want to join us for the next one, you better sign up early as spots are already going. Almost all of the girls at this retreat are already making plans for the next one in January. We had girls join us from Illinois to Missouri and in between. I think I can honestly say everyone had a great time. Shown is a scrapbook page done by one of our newest "sassy girls", Danielle, who travelled all the way from St. Louis.

As we are packing for our "end of summer" retreat, I was thinking of so many of you who are unable to join us for this great weekend getaway. So not to make you feel totally left out . . . we decided to have a Labor Day Sale on Monday!!

Come to either store on Monday, September 6 and you will get a 15% discount on your purchases. As always, this does not include classes or items already on sale, but everything else is on sale :) So if you have to stay home this weekend, don't be too sad . . . you are still special to all of us at Sassy :)

Also, I just got back from my second trip to Chattanooga purchasing displays from the Crop Shop to add to our Medical location. We appreciate you all being so patient with us as we grow, but now get ready for some great new additional product at Medical!!

Unfortunately, now that we have it all in one place we may have been a bit too excited about what we were buying :) Anyone looking for some 12x12 paper racks?? We just may have a few to sell. They are the short ones, fit under the slatwall, hold approx. 30 different papers. Price would be $50 ( that's almost 1/2 of retail ) Let me know if you might be interested :)

Don't forget we still have a great line-up of classes to finish off the month of August. Brenda will be doing a "Denim" two page layout on Tuesday that is absolutely adorable . . . still room to sign up for that one!!

If you are participating in LOTM it is re-scheduled for September 11. Since we are on retreat Labor Day Weekend, we have changed the date to the following week. SPEAKING OF RETREAT!!! I still have THREE (3) spaces left. And I have an odd number so you can even sneak in with another person and save a few $$$. If you have never been on retreat w/Sassy before . . . it is time!! Give us a call and grab those last three spots ASAP!!!

NEW CLASS beginning in September will be an ATC card workshop. It will be a monthly project so you will have to make a three month commitment to complete. But you will learn all about ATC's, be introduced to several new techniques, share your progress with other class members and complete a beautiful book at the end!! This will be a small group endeavor, limited to only six persons . . . and it will be over before the holidays!! GREAT opportunity, ladies . . . call you peeps and get your name on the list :)

Saturday "chocolate" crop still has a couple empty chairs :( Come on, you know you want to come . . . IT'S CHOCOLATE!!! Call Medical 898-0050 and grab one of those chairs :)

And last, but certainly not least is Amy's "Petal Pusher" Book Class on Sunday afternoon. Absolutely beautiful chipboard book using Bo Bunny Petal Pusher line of papers and embellishments with added acrylic pages, jewels and flowers. Book is chock full of beautiful techniques. What a Weekend!

This was an exciting weekend at Sassy. we started off the weekend with a Stampers' Crop on Friday Night where the ladies were faced with a challenge. the challenge was to be creative on the spot. That's right they were given a challenge to created a card using only the items in their bag and there were able to add something from their stash but they had to use the items in their bag. We have a lot of creative ladies and you should stop by the Memorial Store to see what the ladies created.
On Saturday at the Medical Center store we had our very own "Tim Holtz" gal, Amy Smith, who came up with an very unique 12 x 12 layout, card and tag. The ladies seem to have a great time working on the layouts, and they had a good time learning new techniques. My favorite was the technique called Dabber Resist. You use the Adirondack Acrylic Paint Dabber, Snow Cap, I can't tell you anymore...you will have to come in and pick Amy Smith's brain to see how to do the technique.

I was also there on Sunday when the ladies were taking the Advanced Card Class. Those cards were beautiful and the techniques used to make the cards were just wonderful. Spellbinders, cuddle bug, and many more techniques were used. Amy is a great asset to the store and we can't wait to see what the cards for October will look like.

Special Tribute

As most of you who have been with us for some time know, we lost two very special people in our Sassy Family this year. In February, Brenda lost her beautiful daughter-in-law to cancer and in June Lee’s daddy lost his battle as well. We have all felt the loss of these family members as we continue to love and console our fellow workers who are also our dearest friends.

It is with those heartfelt emotions that Sassy has decided to offer a Tribute gift to honor both Sandy and Mr. Maynard.

On September 11, Lee and her family will be participating in “Sherry’s Run” in Lebanon** in honor of her father. We are inviting you as part of our Sassy Family to make a donation to “TEAM MAYNARD” to express your joy, gratitude or sympathy in someone’s honor. We will have the donation forms at both stores, Memorial and Medical where you are welcome to pick them up.

As most of you know, we did not travel to Chicago this year for CHA as I felt the economy was just not supportive to that kind of expense, particularly since we were just opening our new location. But now, I feel that God had something else in mind with our CHA monies. I count it a privilege to make this challenge to each of you as we, together, honor these two very special ladies!! I thank you in advance for you support . . . your donation will definitely make a difference in the lives of area cancer patients!!

Hooray!! Time for the weekend . . . and it is LOTM!! Don't forget to come to the Memorial store Saturday, Lee has designed a 'really cute' layout for August . . . your summer pics will look wonderful!! If you are going to enter the competition with your July layout, be sure to mark your pages and have them in page protectors. Come on girls, you can do it!! There's a $10 gift card up for grabs!!

We have turned in all our orders for CHA and now just waiting for the great new products to arrive at our door!! Just remember that it is a crazy time in the industry and no one makes any promises on delivery schedule :) In the meantime, we have put a wonderful new "family" line at Medical and added a "cowboy" line to our "cowgirl" already in both stores :) Still have lots of wonderful beach / summer / camping / Disney papers and embellishments for all those great summer pictures. Get the pictures printed, girls while the memories are fresh and the journaling will come as easily as the smiles :)

We have a great schedule of classes coming up this next week. Monday is both Beginner Cricut and Beginner Scrapook. We all have to start somewhere . . . don't think that it is ever too late ladies, we have all been there :) Brenda will be offering her Digital class at Medical on Tuesday. Again, never too late or too computer challenged :)
Another BEAUTIFUL Cricut layout workshop on Thursday. Just bring you machine and your mat, we will provide everything you need for this really awesome layout. And on Saturday, Allison will be teaching our "Summer Scrapbook" workshop for Teen/Tweens one more time. Great time for your girls to learn some techniques, capture all those summer memories, and have a really cute album to share and enjoy for years to come!!! Something for everyone coming up in August. Last week we sent out a "last minute" class deal for our email girls and had a WONDERFUL RESPONSE!! We had twelve girls take an incredible Basic Grey layout class for "Half Price"!! Congratulations to each of you who took advantage of the deal, makes reading these emails even more exciting! So, since we had so much fun . . . let's try it again. We have been doing some cleaning, sorting, cutting and assembling all week and have found some really sweet items that need homes . . . it's GRAB BAG time!! We will be offering a variety of GRAB BAGS Sunday afternoon at the Medical Center Store, 1pm-5pm. All price ranges, but limited numbers . . . come on in and go home with some great orphaned, but priceless treasures!!

Seems like forever since I last sent out news from the store. Believe me it is NOT because there is nothing to tell . . . we just haven't had a chance to catch our breath for a couple weeks now! So . . . . before we go any further . . . it is official . . . Sassy Scrapper on Medical Center is now OPEN!!!!

We have three beautiful storefronts in our signature "pink" with lots of great new product and lots of room to grow :) We are still carrying fixtures and product almost daily and it is looking more and more like home with every trip :) Many of you have already "found us", but we can't wait to share our new facility with everyone. There is a full schedule of classes / crops at both locations during the month of July!! And we are going to be open at the Medical Center store on Sunday afternoons from 1pm-5pm. COME SEE US!!!

CHA is coming up the end of July and that is when all the manufacturers makes their end of year showing. We are planning to attend and bring home as much great new stuff as our budget can afford :) If there is anything that you have previewed or a particular line that you would like to see more of, please talk to me. Always open to your ideas and suggestions. In the meantime, we do have several new lines in house that will certainly keep you busy. Come check out the October Afternoon, Fancy Pants Designs, Teresa Collins Travel, Star Wars, Little Yellow Bicycle and more . . . . and YES!! ALMOST FORGOT . . . If you haven't been able to stop by the new store on Medical Center Parkway, you just don't know what you are missing. There is new product being put out daily...bear with us girls, it is a alot of work to stock a whole new store. The July calendar is up on the website and there are lots of classes and crops. If the class is marked with a #1 it will be at the old store on Memorial Blvd. If there is a #2 beside a class or cop, it will be at the new location on Medical Center Parkway.
If you are traveling on I-24, just exit onto Medical Center Parkway and we are less than 1/4 mile from that point...easy off, easy on. Come see us!!

All I Can Say is WOW...

What a wonderful first day we had at the new location on Medical Center Parkway. We opened the doors at 9 a.m. to 22 excited ladies who were cropping for the day. The new store is FABULOUS with a HUGE crop space and PLENTY of good lighting. Each day there will be more and more supplies being delivered so stop in frequently to check out the progress. All of us Sassy Girls look forward to seeing you at both locations.

On a sadder note, for those of you who know and love Lee, she is mourning the loss of her dad to cancer. He lost his battle last Monday and I pray you will keep Lee and her family in your prayers. I know from my own experience of just losing my daughter-in-law in February, what a difficult time this will be for her. Cancer "stinks" and I pray someday they will find a cure for this terrible disease.

What a week I had last week. My hubby and I decided to take the three grandchildren camping. We headed out Monday morning to Cedars of Lebanon State Park thinking we would get our campsite all set up and then go jump in the pool. To our surprise, the pool was closed on Monday. It was SO hot so we went back to the camper and just hung out in the air-conditioning. Around dinner time it was still very hot and they all complained about having to eat outside...we were camping, for heavens sake!
Okay, so Tuesday will be better, hopefully. We head to the pool again and guess what...it is closed on Tuesdays too. What a bummer. It is the middle of summer. Why is a pool CLOSED? So guess what we did...back to the camper to play games and sit inside in the air-conditioning again. Wednesday we did get to swim and stayed at the pool most of the day. Thursday morning after breakfast we decided to start cleaning up some of our stuff to head home. All of a sudden it got pitch dark and started pouring down rain. Oh great. So now we are all back in the camper and nobody is very happy. We waited the rain out, closed down our pop-up camper and headed home with everything soaking wet. Got home and the kids were having a fit because we had to set everything back up again to dry out. They just didn't understand that part. I thought camping was supposed to be fun and relaxing.
Oh well, it all turned out good because while we set the camper back up the three kids cleaned the car inside and out! And to our surprise, they did a great job. I guess everything turned out just fine after all. All's well that ends well!!!

We carry a line of stamps at the Sassy Scrapper that are designed by a local artist. I love them and her newest one is amazing. I can't wait to get it!!! We should have it in the store in a week or so. She has a website that has a gallery of amazing cards on it. I took one of those examples and put my own spin on it. I loved the way it turned out. The banner is from her stamp set Look Up. It is so versatile. The wish big is cut out with my Silhouette, which I absolutely love. I added the candle because I thought since I was telling someone to wish big they needed a candle. The ribbon is actually a piece of fabric with torn edges. What do you think?

OH SCRAP!! What a great time we had at the National Scrapbook Day "All Night" Crop!! We cropped around the clock. We started at 3pm and watched 3am roll past us as many layouts were getting done!! And we were all anxiously waiting at 7am when Mary came in with breakfast. By the way, the My Mind's Eye new line has arrived and I love it! It is just inside the door with three of my grandchildren already on layouts!! Those babies are my heart. We have to get our babies shown off somehow cause Mary keeps taking the front page of the website with all HER new babies!! Does it seem they are arriving every week or what!! Oh Yeah!! Speaking of Mary, she had a great surprise for us. She had scheduled a demonstrator from Cannon to show us the portable printers. AWESOME!! Great for everything and she let us play with them too. Keep checking back to get the scoop on when she is coming back . . . or twist my arm . . . you know I can't keep a secret.

When I was working Saturday the store was buzzing with the news that the sign was up at the new store. One lady even told me she peeked in and they were painting. I think she was almost as excited as all of us "Sassy Girls".
For those of you who don't know yet, we are opening a second location on Medical Center Parkway in front of the new Embassy Suites Hotel. For anyone travelling the interstate, this will be the perfect location for you with easy access on and off and the store right beside the interstate.

Meribah Retreat Update

Fifteen ladies plus Sassy staff attended the retreat. The log cabin is a great place to scrapbook. There were two hundred plus layouts completed while at retreat. There were many pots of coffee consumed, lots of good food eaten, fun fellowship, new friendships made, and the wrap around porch was enjoyed by all. Lots of wildlife to see-Bluebirds, turkeys, redheaded woodpeckers, etc. Dogwood trees, blackberry bushes and many other flowers were blooming. Thank you Mary for organizing such a great retreat!

Secrets of a Staff Meeting.....

Don't tell the boss I'm sharing our staff meeting news with everyone, but I'm just too excited to keep it to myself. The permits have passed and the new store is getting its "Sassy" makeover. Bill is hard at work tearing down walls, patching up holes and will soon be painting the walls a "Sassy Pink". Watch for the sign to be going up on the building in the VERY near future girls. I told you it was exciting news.
If you call the store today, it's not too late to sign up for the Lodge Retreat this weekend. It will be beautiful at this time of year with everything in bloom. Lots of porch space and rocking chairs for when you just need time to think...you know, the times when you are scrapbook brain dead! Not only that...you won't want to miss Mary's wonderful cooking. And as a special surprise this retreat, Bettye will be cooking two of the meals. I tell you girls, you are in for a special time. Just watch out for Kim and Allison...you never know what those two are up to.
The new Basic Grey line, Kioshi, went on the floor yesterday so you definitely want to get to the store to check it out before it flies out the door.

Meribah Retreat

Are you packed yet? I am! This is my 1st visit to the log cabin in the woods. Mother Nature has the woods in full bloom, the birds are singing, so excited to see what she has in store for us this weekend. We'll be eating Mary's great food, enjoying fellowship of new friends, sharing a happy place to create new memories, lots of pictures to be taken and scrap book pages to be made. We have had such a problem keeping this under wraps, but wanted to be sure that everything was in order before we let the cat out of the bag.
And I wanted to be sure that you . . . our special customers . . . were the first to hear!! SASSY SCRAPPER will be opening a second location on Medical Center Parkway!! Lots yet to do both with the building and business technicalities, but the lease is signed, I have keys to the building . . . . it is a done deal!! Watch for our second location "on the other side of town" coming soon!!!

I know that jaws must be dropping and you are all a bit stunned, but please know that we are excited and have great things planned for you!! Also, please know from the bottom of my heart just how thankful I am for each and every one of you. Without you there would be no Sassy Scrapper. If you really want to know what all the rage is with the Copic markers you need to come on down to the store and take a Copic marker class. Lee is back from Memphis and is now officially a Certified Designer. She can fill you in on all those little secrets the designers know to make their projects so wonderful as well as the basic knowledge you need to use the Copics. You will be making a sketch book with a color chart to keep up with all your colors and combinations that you like. You will also get a color wheel to show you what colors go together well. We have 2 classes this month Tuesday night March 9 at 6:00 and Sunday March 14 at 2:00. The cost is $25.00 and you get to pick a marker of your choice.

If you were here on Monday night, you know what a great detective we have in house. Our very own, Sherri, proved herself quite helpful as the police were swarming the building. She went right outside and asked one of the officers "is there something going on that we should know about"? Of course his response was "Yes, get back in the building, lock the doors, and don't let anyone in". As she turned to head back in the building she realized she was locked out! Thank goodness Allison was brave enough to open the door and let her back in. As it turned out, the bank right behind our store had been robbed at gunpoint and the police and their dogs were out looking for him. At this point they haven't caught the suspect yet...perhaps they need to sign Sherri up on the police force!!!!

If you know me at all, you know I love all things Tim Holtz. I was lucky enough to help him at CKU this summer and I haven't been the same since. I convinced Mary to order a bunch of his product. Well right now he is doing his annual 12 Days of Christmas tags. He shows you step by step how to make them and he uses tons of techniques and products. Some of the products are hard to find local, so once again I have convinced Mary to order the stuff he is using. ...Just the new layout I did. Graphic 45 has a fabulous Christmas line out that looks very vintage. I love it! I made this layout from a couple of sheets from the line and put it on a solid piece of cardstock. You can't tell in the picture, but the strip of stamps is covered in the new Rock Candy stickles and it makes it look even more vintage, if that is possible. Come into the store to check out this layout and several others I have been working on.

Mary and I have just finished our marathon class taking in Houston. Yes, even Mary did all the classes too and has wounds to prove it. We have so many class ideas that I think we could have a class every day until February. We saw some new great products that are coming out and ordered alot of products that are going to be new to the store. I got to take 3 Tim Holtz Ranger classes and can't wait to share with everyone what I have learned. I also took 2 Hero Arts classes from Jennifer McGuire and Shari Carroll. What a blast we had.
Our weekend consisted of lots of hard work with plenty of time for laughing and acting silly (as you can see by the pictures). We had a great booth and met tons of new customers and also saw many of our faithful store customers. Lee did demos for two days straight and also taught a class using the Just Rite Stampers. We also set up at the crop both nights so we were very busy. Kim was so tired she decided to take a nap on the floor....we really worked her too hard I guess. As everyone else strolled around the Opryland Hotel, our feet hurt so bad we could only make it to the restaurant. We did manage to get in a few laughs though as Lee tried on a pink and sassy cowgirl hat. I wish you could see in the picture, but that hat actually had blinking lights on it.

We have set the dates for our ANNUAL FALL YARD SALE for OCTOBER 24TH thru OCTOBER 22ND. You may bring your items in on Thrusday and Friday OCTOBER 22ND and 23RD. The sale will begin at 8 am on Saturday morning and run thru Tuesday 27TH when everything is marked down to 1/2 price. If you are a Vendor you may shop on Friday evening 6pm-8pm!! Vendors only PLEASE.

Fine Print!!!
You must PRE-REGISTER to participate as a Vendor. At that time, you will be given a VENDOR CODE that you must use to mark all your items. This is imparative for us to give you credit for your sales. There is a fee of $15 to participate, but all sales will be returned to you in the form of a Sassy Scrapper gift card.

Please try to put your smaller items or groups of items into plastic bags so that everything stays together. This also works better for papers. We will do our absolute best to keep everything attractive and safe, but this event is quite popular (crowded and crazy) and we cannot be held responsible for any lost or misplace items.

All items MUST be picked up by Saturday the 31ST. Items left will be donated to local nursing homes. Gift cards will be available Monday, November 2ND. We will deduct 10% from your sales after November 30TH.

In case you did not make it to CKC in Nashville this last weekend you really missed a good time. It was so fun to see so many of our customers there. They all were really excited to see us too. I loved showing so many people the Just Rite Stamps. Most people had not seen it before and several people had it but did not know what to do with it. I taught a class on Friday night and the girls really loved the cards and the box made with the ScorPal. Kim Garner from Rusty Pickle came in the store on Saturday night and Sunday afternoon to teach two super cool mini albums. In case you could not make it Mary bought some extra kits so we can have another class. Thanks to everyone for making our CKC debut such a success!!

We are getting down to crunch time for CKC. Not only are we having a booth, we are teaching a class and working the crops. We are making kits, cutting out all kinds of things and packing, praying we do not forget anything. Hello Girls!

Our guest teacher this spring, Amie Igou, has planned three more classes in her popular Product 2 Project Park for this fall. Classes will start in September and go through November. The class structure has changed slightly but the cost is the same - $12.00 per class or bundle all three for $30.00.

The lineup includes Creative Titles, Jump Start your Journaling, and Rubons to the Rescue. This is another round of classes based on sketches; you will also complete two challenges in class. The format is slightly different in that you need to bring photos to each class, enough for two challenges. They can be originals as they are for inspiration only. You will leave class with three sketches from Amie's projects, a very detailed handout on the subject and two challenges completed in class.

Creative Titles will concentrate on creating titles, title placement for most impact, and where to find creative title. Titles can really make a big impact and help support the theme of your photo's. Learn to use creative phrases instead of citing the obvious! For instance, working on a new driver? I am, two in fact. One niece will get her license in a few weeks and for her birthday we bought her a custom license plate. The other niece just earned her driver's' permit today and she sill be the first one to drive even though her brother is two years older. I'm working on both layouts and one will be titled "Designs on Driving" and the other one will be "Designated Driver".

Jump Start Your Journaling by getting away from just the who, what, where and when. Grab hold and take your journaling to the next level using stamps, premade products like journaling spots and cards, and a host of other products. You will leave with a handout where you'll find lots of different journaling prompts to get your mojo moving!

Rubons to the Rescue will have you mixing, coloring and decorating them to create one of a kind designs. They aren't all created equally and you'll get a run down on the easiest to use. Come and see how to use them on layouts, cards and photos!

Here it is finally!! I have been working on a pet board book that were are making into a kit and here it is. It using some great Cloud 9 dog paper. I am teaching the class on Saturday August 29 at 10. The cost is $19.50. After the class we will have the kits available to purchase. If you come to class please bring basic supplies - trimmer, scissors, adhesive - wet and dry, glue dots, brayer, craft knife with cutting mat, apron lace, leave it to weaver, and effervescence border punch, 1/2 circle punch, 1/2 inch dog paw punch, 1 1/4 square punch, chipboard corner rounder, brown ink and ink applicator, espresso alcohol ink and applicator, and a crop a dile.

You can now look at the calendar and click on a class you like and it will take you to the description and picture. From there you can click to buy that class and pay for it online.
